fonty-rg software package provides Linux console fonts in various encodings, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonty-rg
fonty-rg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonty-rg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonty-rg *
You will get with fonty-rg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
